KCAG Monthly Meetings

The grotto hosts a monthly meeting open to members and visitors alike. At the meetings we discuss current caving issues, upcoming trips, and hold presentations on caving-related topics. After each meeting we head over to Minsky's Pizza @ 51st & Main for pizza and/or beer. These business meetings, and especially the gatherings afterward, are the perfect opportunity to meet the members of the grotto – the first step toward getting invited to do some Missouri wild caving.

Meeting Location

Grotto meetings are held at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, located at 4750 Troost, Kansas City, MO, 64110. The meetings start at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month, with the exception of June and December, when we have a grotto picnic and Christmas party respectively. Check the grotto calendar or send us an email for more information on the upcoming meetings and events.

COVID-19 Update

Due to the restrictions on non-essential activities in the Kansas City area, Grotto meetings will be held online using Zoom until further notice. Instructions will be sent to the mailing list.
